COMAL COUNTY, Texas -- Sheriff's deputies have identified the Austin man who died Saturday afternoon in the Guadalupe River just north of New Braunfels.

Dive teams recovered the body of 20-year-old Sean Ryan Hadley around 7:30 Saturday evening. An autopsy has been ordered. Deputies say there are no indications of foul play at this time.

The Comal County Sheriff's Office says the 911 call came in from a nearby campground just before 4 p.m. Saturday. The caller said Hadley was missing and last seen in the river. Officers from the Comal County Sheriff’s Office and Canyon Lake Fire/EMS responded to the scene.

A dive team from New Braunfels Fire began a search of the river soon after. They recovered Hadley about 25 feet from the shore in 10 feet of water.

Friends told deputies that Hadley was floating with a group of friends. He was repeatedly getting out of the tube and diving. The last time he did it, there was no immediate alarm until the group discovered he had been missing for a while.

The investigation into Hadley's death continues.
