SAN MARCOS, Texas -- A 20-year-old man has been killed after stepping in front of a train.
Police say Tyler Rhein Schobert, 20, stepped onto the tracks and was hit near the 600 block of East Hopkins Street in San Marcos just before 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Officials say Schobert was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge where he was pronounced dead.
San Marcos police are investigating the incident.
