CEDAR PARK, Texas -- A two-year-old who went missing from his home in Cedar Park has been found safe after several hours of searching.
Police were called just before 5 a.m. Friday after it was discovered that Drake McClendon, 2, was missing from a home on West Whitestone (FM 1431) and Prize Oaks Drive.
After a six-hour search, police found him in Austin with his mother, Ashley McClendon, 28 around 11 a.m. Police say she does not have parental custody of him.
McClendon was arrested and charged with burglary with the intent to commit kidnapping, which police say is a first degree felony. More charges are pending.
