AUSTIN - Two University of Texas students claimed they were assaulted while walking through campus Monday afternoon.
According to University Police, a woman reported a strange man grabbed her arm and neck while trying to have a conversation with her in the 2200 block of Robert Dedman Drive, across the street from Darrel K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
When investigators interviewed the woman's classmates, one of them told police he or she had a similar experience near the same area.
Neither student was hurt in either incident.
Both students describe the suspect as follows: olive complexion, dark hair with a neatly trimmed beard, about 5-foot-7, 25-30, and he was wearing dark-colored clothing.
UT Austin police ask anyone who has been touched or assaulted to call 911 immediately.
