Two people were killed Tuesday morning in separate crashes involving 18-wheelers.

Southbound FM 620 was shut down near Mansfield Dam after an 18-wheeler hit and killed a pedestrian just after 8 a.m.  The Texas Department of Public Safety and Travis County Sheriff's Office were on the scene.  Officials say the victim was around 30 years old.

A truck driver was also killed on Interstate 35 at RM 1431 in Round Rock.

Crews had to shut down the southbound access road between Westinghouse Road and RM 1431 after a semi rolled over, spilling lumber all over the road and median.  The roadway was reopened before 11:30 a.m.

It was unclear what caused the crash.

this is horrible. there are so many accidents going on in this passed week. people need to be very careful while on the road and drive the speed limit. If you are in a hurry people maybe you should leave a little earlier to not be in such a rush.
