NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -- A 27-year-old man accused of killing a New Braunfels woman three months ago has been formally charged.
Nathaniel Fox has been indicted on murder charges.
The body of 27-year-old Melissa Eason was found inside her home New Year's Day. An autopsy revealed she had been strangled. Police said Eason was Fox's girlfriend.
Fox was arrested at a pool hall across the street from the New Braunfels Police Department on Jan. 4.
If Fox is convicted, he faces up to 99 years in prison.
