SAN MARCOS, Texas -- A sewage spill sent 15,000 gallons of wastewater into the San Marcos river.
It happened around 6 p.m. Wednesday after a manhole clogged near University Drive and C.M. Allen Parkway.
Untreated wastewater flowed into the river for about two hours.
The city has reported the spill to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and is testing water samples from the river.
