NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas - A 25-year-old man who was last seen Tuesday morning was located Wednesday afternoon by the San Antonio Police Department.
According to the City of New Braunfels, Raymond Kimbrell was found at the Haven for Hope facility in good condition. The city says steps are being taken to help maintain his safety.
Police are asking the public’s help in locating a missing 25-year-old man last seen early Tuesday morning.
NBPD said Raymond Kimbrell III and another man left the River Gardens assisted-living facility in New Braunfels around 2 a.m. Tuesday. The other man called the facility around 8 a.m. and gave his location as just off I-35 in Schertz. He safely returned to the facility, but Kimbrell decided to continue walking south toward San Antonio.
Kimbrell suffers from mental disabilities and is currently without his medication, police said. He was last seen wearing red plaid swim shorts and a maroon tank top, and was last seen near mile marker 177 in Schertz walking south toward San Antonio.
Anyone with information on Kimbrell’s whereabouts is asked to call their local law enforcement agency.
