Driver charged with DWI after car crashes into insurance office

AUSTIN - The driver of a vehicle that crashed into a southwest Austin businesses Friday afternoon has been arrested on a DWI charge, police tell KVUE.

APD said they were called to the 5800 block of West Slaughter Lane around 2:15 p.m. Friday. An image posted on Twitter shows the vehicle had crashed into the Jack Brown Cleaners and a State Farm insurance office.

No injuries were reported. The identity of the driver charged was not available as of 4:30 p.m. Friday.
