AUSTIN -- The Austin Disaster Relief Network is partnering with Christian Compassion Center to open a warehouse and accept donations for flooding survivors. It's located at Oak Meadows Baptist Church located near William Cannon and I-35 at 6905 South IH 35.

The warehouse is located behind the main church building. It's open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Volunteers are organizing donations including new and gently used clothing, personal care items, furniture in good condition, non-perishable food, baby care items, household linens including sheets, blankets, and towels, and kitchen supplies. No mattresses will be accepted.

The Southern Baptist Convention is also setting up a disaster relief trailer in the church parking lot. The group will make hot meals starting Saturday evening for victim's of the Halloween flood. The Red Cross will distribute the food.

To make a tax deductible gift to the Central TX Floods Relief Fund, you can donate online or mail a donation to Austin Disaster Relief Network PO Box 3817, Cedar Park, TX 78630.
