DALLAS — The state of Texas is trying to help youngsters kick the flu bug by launching its "Flu Fighters" tour.
Two martial arts experts are heading around the state visiting young students. On Tuesday morning, they were at Brashear Elementary and Medrano elementary schools in Dallas.
The artists give high-energy interactive presentations, teaching about hand-washing and other flu-fighting techniques.
The Texas Department of State Health Services has also released "Flu Fighter" videos showing martial artists beating the flu.
The flu season traditionally peaks in January and February, and the Centers for Disease Control predicts another outbreak of swine flu this spring.
