More than 300 people across the U.S. have been diagnosed with cyclospora, including at least two people in WIlliamson County and eight in Travis County.

FDA officials say a Mexican vegetable processing plant produced bagged salads served at Red Lobster and Olive Garden that are causing the outbreak in Iowa and Nebraska.

They are still investigating whether the company's salads are the source of cases in 14 other states, including Texas.

Dr. Dan Mackay, an emergency medicine physician and medical director at St. David's Urgent Care Circle C, spoke to KVUE about cyclospora.
