Study: Women 66 to 74 need mammogram every 2 years

AUSTIN -- The debate about the frequency of mammograms and how long to continue them is ongoing.

Now a new study finds that for older women ages 66 to 74, getting a mammogram every two years is as good as getting one every year.

Dr. Punit Chadha, an oncologist who practices at the Breast Center at St. David's, spoke to KVUE about the study.
