New research shows napping may help you process memories and learn new tasks.

A recent study by a team of German researchers looked at the effects of a daily nap on an adults ability to perform certain tasks. They found those who took a nap scored higher on tests of memory and reason.

They say slow wave activity in the brain during deep sleep acts to store information learned throughout the day, and gives the brain a new, fresh capacity for learning the remainder of the day.

Read more details on the study in the Saga UK.
