MRSA now kills about 19,000 Americans every year. It once was relegated to the elderly or ill in hospitals, but in recent years it has moved into other places, especially locker rooms, and is spreading among healthy adults and children.
Dr. Peters-Do is with Texas MedClinic. She spoke to KVUE about MRSA and how it is treated and spread.
