GEORGETOWN, Texas -- A mosquito tested in Georgetown has turned up positive for West Nile Virus.
The mosquito was found Nov. 1 in the 78628 zip code. This is the first positive test in the city since June. Williamson County says it hasn't had any human cases of the virus this year.
The best way to prevent West Nile is by using insect repellent and getting rid of standing water where mosquitoes breed.
