Austin leads the world in new defibrillator implant

Austin is the first in the world to test a new implantable defibrillator for heart failure patients.

One man has already signed up for this clinical trial and more patients are needed.

Doctor Paul Coffeen, is an electrophysiologist with Heart Hospital of Austin. He explains the problems patients with heart failure endure.
