LOUISVILLE, Ky -- A new study suggests burning off calories from fast food can take up to two hours of exercise.

Many restaurants have the calorie list on menus now, but a new study suggests listing the amount of time it would take to burn off those calories is a better idea.

Researchers have found that if consumers are aware of the number of minutes they'd have to exercise to work off the calories they are eating, they are more likely to order lower calorie options.

Those who participated in the study who ordered off the activity labeled menu ordered 139 fewer calories less than those who chose from a calorie labeled menu.
