AUSTIN -- Tuesday may be Election Day, but it seems many Texans have their sights set on next year's gubernatorial race.
A new University of Texas/Texas Tribune poll shows Attorney General Greg Abbott has the majority of the support on the GOP side of the ballot, though 42 percent of people polled weren't sure who they would vote for.
When it comes to the general election, Abbott has the slight edge in a hypothetical match-up with Democrat Wendy Davis. Twenty percent say they don't know who they would vote for.
When people were asked about the GOP primary for lieutenant governor, 26 percent said they would re-elect David Dewhurst.
Dan Patrick was not far behind, however 46 percent say they don't know who they would pick.
