Photos: Suspect accused of spray painting Austin's Central Library

Austin police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect that was involved in vandalizing the newly-opened Austin Central Library.

The suspect allegedly spray painted the cafe's windows late Oct. 28, causing over $1,000 in damages.

The suspect was caught on surveillance cameras wearing a black long-sleeved shirt with tan khaki shorts and black shoes while carrying a red and pink backpack.

The suspect is described as follows:

  • White male
  • 5-feet-9 inches to 5-feet-11 inches
  • 160 to 175 pounds
  • Short brown hair
  • Mid-late 20's
