Drugs, stolen gun found in SWAT search, sheriff's office says

A search warrant executed on a Taylor home Monday morning yielded drugs, one stolen gun and more than $1,700 in cash.

The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said its SWAT team executed a search warrant on a home along the 2900 block of Monika Lane Way around 9 a.m. May 15. The sheriff’s office said the following items were found in the home:

- 11.4 ounces of marijuana;
- 77 units ecstasy;
- 10 grams cocaine;
- 46 gram marijuana wax;
- 167 units Xanax;
- 19 units hydrocodone;
- 2 units oxycodone;
- 2 guns, 1 stolen;
- $1,740.00 US Currency.

The sheriff’s office said the man living in the home, 21-year-old Joseph Anthony Garcia, was arrested on an outstanding probation warrant at his place of work in Hutto by members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force. Online records at the Williamson County Jail list multiple charges for Garcia, and bond has been set at a combined $855,000 bond.
