Suspect confesses to burglarizing several businesses, police say

AUSTIN – Police say a man has confessed to burglarizing several businesses in north and central Austin.

Arrest affidavits for Micah Israel Roseman, 26, say police have been investigating seven separate burglaries in October and November 2017, including at a pawn shop, Texas Media Systems, Discount Electronics, Precision Camera and Game Stop. The affidavits state electronics were taken in several burglaries.

Roseman was arrested in Harris County on Nov. 30 in connection to a burglary warrant issued by APD. The warrants say police spoke with Roseman at the Harris County Jail, and that he admitted to breaking into the businesses. Police noted in multiple affidavits that surveillance video recorded a vehicle consistent with Roseman’s sedan at businesses around the time of the burglaries, and a person wearing matching clothing forcing their way inside.

Texas Media Systems on Friday shared video of the burglary at their store.

Roseman was booked into the Travis County Jail on Dec. 8, and online records state he is being held on combined $107,000. A booking photo was not available as of late Thursday morning.
