APD seeks public's help finding hit-and-run suspect

AUSTIN - A man allegedly failed to stop and render aid to a 13-year-old who was allegedly struck by his vehicle in northeast Austin Monday.

Police said the crash happened just before 6:30 p.m. in the 7200 block of Cameron Road. The 13-year-old victim is expected to be okay.

The suspect in the incident is described as a bald Hispanic man. His vehicle is described as a Chevy Malibu, possibly silver in color with dark tinted windows.
