Suspect charged in Llano County murder

LLANO COUNTY, TEXAS - An Arizona man has been charged with murder after a shooting at a ranch near Llano.

The Llano County Sheriff’s Office said they were called to the Stripes convenience store near Highway 29 and Highway 16 (Young Street and Bessemer Avenue) in the early hours of Nov. 19, and that the clerk reported there was a man at the store who said he had shot his friend. Officers responded to the store, and then went to a ranch off County Road 403 and found Joshawa Lee Jordan of Mason, Texas dead from “multiple gunshot wounds.”

The suspect — identified as Justin Lamb, 27, of Yuma, Ariz. — was arrested on a murder charge and booked into the Llano County Jail. The sheriff’s office said his bond has been set at $500,000, and that the Texas Rangers are also investigating the case.
