Police arrest pair suspected in Leander burglary

LEANDER, TEXAS - Two suspects have been arrested in connection to an attempted burglary at a home in the Oak Ridge subdivision on Halloween and the burglaries of two other homes, police said Tuesday.

Leander police said Jonah Evans, 17, and a juvenile were arrested in connection to the Oct. 31 attempted burglary. Police said the juvenile, whose name has not been released, was taken into custody Nov. 3. Evans was taken into custody Nov. 8.

Police allege the two kicked in the door of a home in the 900 block of Tanglewood Drive around 1:45 p.m. Oct. 31 and attempted to burglarize the home.
