Worker charged with inappropriately touching Cedar Park girl

CEDAR PARK, TEXAS - Police have charged a San Antonio man after he allegedly touched a girl inappropriately at her home Saturday.

According to court documents, officers were called to a home in the Cypress Bend subdivision of Cedar Park around 7:10 p.m. Oct. 15 for a report of a sexual assault in progress. The victim’s mother told dispatchers a contract worker who was working on her home – identified in the affidavit as Martin Gaona, 49 – had touched her daughter inappropriately. The affidavit states the victim, who is under 10 years of age, told her parents what had happened after the alleged assault.

Detectives spoke with Gaona, who admitted to being in the room with the victim but denied the allegations that he touched her.

Gaona was arrested Saturday on a felony charge of Indecency with a child/sexual contact and booked into the Williamson County Jail. Online records show he is being held on $40,000 bond.
