Child sex assault suspect sought by police, U.S. Marshals

AUSTIN – Authorities are looking for a 26-year-old Austin man charged with sexually assaulting a 7-year-old in Austin.

U.S. Marshals said they are looking for Martin Michael Flores Jr. Austin police said in an affidavit that they were called to a home in the area of Bolm Road and Gardner Road, and that the victim’s grandmother discovered her granddaughter had been assaulted.

The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force and Austin Area Crime Stoppers have posted a reward of $2,100 for any tip leading to Flores’ arrest. “Flores has a criminal past that includes narcotics possession, weapons offenses, fraud, and bail jumping,” Marshals said. A wanted poster states Flores is 5-feet, 7-inches tall, weighing 175 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call their nearest law enforcement agency or the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at 512-800-4213.
