Two hurt in Round Rock shooting

ROUND ROCK, TEXAS - Two people have been taken to the hospital following a shooting late Thursday night at a Round Rock apartment complex.

Police said they were called to the Red Hills Villas apartment complex at 1401 A.W. Grimes Boulevard, near the intersection with Gattis School Road, shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday. One of the two people shot was described by police as being in critical condition, and the second person’s injuries were not immediately available.

Round Rock Police said no one is in custody as of 5:15 a.m. Friday, and they are asking people to avoid the area as they continue their investigation.
