LAS VEGAS -- It's being called the future of forks. It's a "smart fork" that tracks how many bites you take and vibrates if you eat too fast.

The HAPIfork might save you a few pounds. Inventors say using it can actually help cut calories by 11 percent, help combat diabetes and trains you over time to eat slower.

The goal is to help people become more conscience of their eating habits. And besides being technically advanced, at $99 it could also be the world's most expensive eating utensil.

The HAPIfork was introduced as a new gadget during this year's International CES in Las Vegas.
