About 641,000 Bobby Chupete pacifiers have been recalled because the mouth guard is too small, creating a choking risk. The pacifiers were manufactured in China and imported by Grand World Inc. of Maspeth, N.Y. No incidents have been reported. They were sold nationwide between November 2004 and July 2009. Also on the list, about 17,000 youth hooded sweat shirts and jackets have been recalled because drawstrings through the hoods could trap or strangle children. No incidents have been reported. The sweat shirts were manufactured in China and imported by Century 21 Promotions of Seattle. They were sold at a variety of stores, primarily in New England, Washington and Alaska, between September 2005 and September 2009.
And finally, about 90 EXO-Tech safety harnesses for hunting were recalled because of a defect that could allow a user to fall when force is applied to the harness. Additionally, the back of the harness includes an untested carabiner connector. No incidents have been reported. The harnesses were sold at Cabelas, Bass Pro and at various sporting goods stores nationwide from May 2009 to August 2009. They were manufactured in the Philippines by Gorilla Inc. of Flushing, Mich.
