You meet, you date, you fall in love and get married, but before you say "I do," experts say couples need to be on the same page financially.
A survey on couples and money released by Capital One pointed out that younger people are more prone to conflicts with their partner about money: 36% disagree monthly (or more frequently) with their partner.
Experts say couples can have a joint account for shared expenses, like rent, and still keep separate accounts for individual purchases like a Seahawks jersey or a new handbag.
The bottom line, talk openly about your budget, spending habits, and any debt you are bringing to the relationship.
