WASHINGTON -- Children's wear company Carter's has recalled about 218,000 pieces of infant clothing due to a choking hazard.
The recall includes eight styles of one-piece footed infant outfits in sizes 3-, 6- and 9-month-old with full-length zippers.
The zipper-pull can detach, posing a possible choking hazard to young children.
The items were sold at Walmart, Target and OshKosh B'Gosh stores nationwide between December 2012 and January 2013.
No injuries have been reported. The company said customers should not let infants wear the recalled clothing and should return the items to Carter’s for a full refund.
