AUSTIN -- One of the biggest shopping days of the year, Black Friday, is less than a week away. Some stores have announced special hours and discounts for all of your holiday shopping needs.
We have a list of hours for stores in our area:
- Bass Pro Shops - opens at 5 a.m. Friday (score the best deals between 5 and 11 a.m.)
- Bealls - opens at 8 p.m. to midnight on Thanksgiving and 6 a.m. on Friday (first 25 shoppers on both days will get a scratch off ticket; 24 will be $10 off and one will be a $100 gift card).
- Best Buy - opens at midnight Friday (Doorbuster tickets will be handed out two hours before the opening of the store).
- Cabela's - opens at 5 a.m. Friday (the first 600 people in line can win a Browning rifle, electric smoker or store gift card).
- IKEA - Round Rock - Doors open at 9:30 Friday. (Special, one-day-only offers Friday, Saturday and Sunday; Additional mark downs on select items -- up to 60 percent off -- throughout the store all weekend; Eat for free all weekend – Spend $100 on home furnishings and we’ll deduct your restaurant receipt from your total purchase; 50 percent off all soft toys all weekend – For every soft toy or book you purchase, the IKEA Foundation will donate $1 to UNICEF and Save the Children)
- JCPenney - opens at 6 a.m. Friday (customers will get a code to try and win trips, prizes and other gifts online).
- Kohl's - opens midnight Friday (shoppers will get $15 in Kohl's Cash for every $50 spent during the weekend).
- Lowe's - opens at 5 a.m. Friday (tools and holiday decor will be doorbusters. Most deals will be available online starting at midnight Thanksgiving).
- Macy's - opens midnight Friday
- Radio Shack - opens at 6 a.m. Friday (get $10 coupons for every $50 you spend).
- Sears - opens at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving (there will be two doorbuster events at 8 p.m. and again at 4 a.m. on Black Friday).
- Target - opens at 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving (get a $10 gift card when you spend $50 or more on certain items between 4 a.m. and noon on Friday).
- Toys 'R Us - opens at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving (the first 200 shoppers get a stocking stuffer goody bag).
- Walmart - opens at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving (shoppers can buy a card for out-of-stock doorbuster items for delivery by Christmas).
