The online retailer offers better prices than Wal-Mart and Target, according to Bloomberg.com.
In a comparison study of 125 randomly selected toys, Bloomberg.com found that Amazon had lower prices than Walmart 44 percent of the time, while Walmart was only lower on 13 percent of the toys.
Walmart had lower prices than Target, Sears, Kmart, and Toys "R" Us more than 80 percent of the time.
Last year, Walmart had better prices for most of the holiday season.
In 2011, retailers other than Amazon had issues with out-of-stock items. According to Bloomberg's study, most the largest retailers have better toy inventory levels than a year ago.
