AUSTIN -- It's official. My Fit Foods has relocated its headquarters to Austin.
The food chain which officers healthy pre-portioned and packaged meals has announced it moved its headquarters from Houston to Austin.
This allows the company to triple its size and add more talent to help its expansion.
“We are so excited to have our home-base here in Austin,” said Founder and CEO of My Fit Foods Mario Mendias. “Relocating to Austin was very important to me for a number of reasons, including Austin’s rapidly growing economy, high-quality talent and the city’s focus on health and fitness.”
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 6 to celebrate the move. There will be samples of My Fit Foods, yoga, boot camp and other activities.
My Fit Foods will also offer free breakfast in its stores nation-wide on Friday, Nov. 8.
