More more moms and dads are hard at work caring for the kids at home. A new study shows the typical American father is spending twice as much time doing housework compared to his own dad. While women are devoting 21 hours at work, compared with the eight hours their mothers spent. In fact, less than half of working parents say they have a good work-life balance.

When your parents suggested you be a doctor when you were a kid, that may not have been such a bad idea after all. Gallup says being a doctor ranks the highest in a group of occupations, in terms of overall well being. Transportation workers scored the worst.

Rather than furlough workers, the TSA says it'll focus on a hiring freeze as it grapples across the board budget cuts. However that still means longer lines at airport security. You may notice the impact in time for the memorial day travel weekend!
