It's almost playoff time in major league baseball and that makes this week even that more exciting.

I know... the Astros chances are very, very, very slim... but... it's fun figuring out how they could actually make the playoffs. And watching the races between the White Sox and Twins... and the Brewers and Mets... adds to the excitement.

I'm ready for the playoffs to start. Even without the Rangers... as usual... or the Astros.

I like the Angels and Red Sox in the American League... although... those Rays are dangerous. And in the National League, how can you root against the Cubbies?

I know LA is hoping for an Angels-Dodgers World Series. And Chicago wants a Sox-Cubs series. And poor New York will go crazy if the Mets join the Yankees on the proverbial playoff bench.
