A wrong-way driver was killed after colliding with two vehicles on Interstate 35. The accident happened around midnight, near Wells Branch Parkway.
An unidentified woman was driving north in the southbound lanes of I-35. She hit one vehicle head-on, leaving the three passengers with minor injuries.
The woman driving the wrong way died at the scene.The other vehicle she hit had only front end damage and no injuries.
Austin police are investigating.
