AUSTIN -- Organizers are calling for volunteers to help out with this year's South By Southwest Festival, which will take place March 9-18.
Volunteers will get the chance to help behind the scenes and check out up-and-coming bands, comedy acts and films. Festival officials say there are many volunteer opportunities, with jobs ranging from production to conference activities.
There are day and night positions available. Officials say volunteers must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours, or three shifts, during the festival.
