Soda sales are suffering as Americans become more concerned about the health effects of sugary drinks.

U.S. consumption has steadily dropped over the past eight years so beverage makers are responding with new products.

Products like sports drinks, fruit juices and low or no calorie drinks which analysts say young people prefer.

While Coke, Pepsi and Doctor Pepper have expanded their offerings, a continued drop in soda revenue would be a problem because soda represents 25 percent of the U.S. beverage market.
