AUSTIN -- A third man has been arrested after the video of a downtown Austin fight went viral.

According to our exclusive partners at the Austin American-Statesman, Kevin Morris and Marcus Giovanni Ferebee were arrested this week.

Now the Statesman reports that Matthew Chavez McCoy, 23, is in custody.

All of them are charged with assault causing bodily injury after their alleged involvement in the Jan. 26 fight on Sixth Street near Interstate 35.

Morris is also charged with theft, and his bail has been set at $6,000. Ferebee faces additional traffic violations and has a bail set at $3,724. McCoy's bail has been set at $3,000.

Two other suspects have been charged but not arrested, the Statesman reports. They are Jerel A. Wallace and Christopher Spence. Police say they believe a sixth man was also involved.

More than 400,000 people watched a video of the fight after it was posted online. Police Chief Art Acevedo says the fight was not racially motivated.

"Some people have tried to paint this as a racial attack of African Americans against two white gentlemen, and let me just say this: our investigation has determined that race played absolutely zero part in this incident," Acevedo said. "This was nothing more than a bunch of people going downtown, getting too drunk, some probably smoking some weed."

Police say the fight started when the two groups passed each other and words were exchanged.

No one was seriously injured.
