Two Texas game wardens injured in crash

LIMESTONE COUNTY -- Law enforcement officials are seeking a man they say is responsible for injuring two state game wardens Saturday.

According to Texas Parks and Wildlife, early Saturday morning, two state game wardens attempted to stop a vehicle in Limestone County, east of Waco. The driver of the vehicle rammed the patrol vehicle and a pursuit ensued.

The game warden unit crashed during the pursuit and both game wardens received injuries. One of the game wardens was treated and released and the other is in stable condition at a Waco hospital.

There are multiple agencies involved in the investigation, including Texas Parks and Wildlife, Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas Rangers, McLennan Sherifff's Office, Limestone County Sheriff's Office, Leon County Sheriff's Office, US Marshall's Service, Buffalo Police Department, and the Mexia Police Department.
