AUSTIN -- It's been four years since a single-engine plane slammed into the Echelon building in Northwest Austin.

On Feb. 18, 2010, Joseph Stack flew his Piper airplane into the building which housed an IRS office. He was apparently angry over a tax debt and posted a lengthy rant against the agency online before taking off.

Stack also set his North Austin home on fire that morning.

An IRS employee, Vernon Hunter,  was killed when the plane hit the building. Hunter, a Vietnam vet, was also a church usher and spent much of his time helping the needy.
