AUSTIN --  A situation like Friday's mass shooting in Connecticut is even more difficult because it involves children.

Many parents may be wondering how to talk with their kids about a tragedy like this.

Dr. Caron Farrell is a child and adolescent psychiatrist with the Seton Mind Institute. She spoke to KVUE about the tragedy in Connecticut.
