AUSTIN -- Thunderstorms moved through Central Texas overnight, bringing lightning, hail and flooding. They came Tuesday afternoon and again between midnight and 5 a.m.

While the threat of large hail was not ruled out with the second round of storms, the bigger concern was with flash flooding.

Quarter-inch diameter hail and 40 tp 45 mph winds were expected.

Central Texas will see a break from the storms during the late morning hours Wednesday, but yet another round of rain should make its way into the area Wednesday afternoon. Unlike the first two rounds, severe weather is not expected with this third wave of rain.
