You might just call it the life styles of the rich and famous in Austin. Two luxury condos are opening this month and a third by the end of the year.
These high rise projects have already changed the face of Austin's skyline and are revolutionizing Austin's urban lifestyle
They are some of the most expensive residential housing developed in downtown Austin.
Three luxury high rise towers -- The Four Seasons Residences, The Austonian, and the W Hotel and Residences.
Arnold and Candy Lipp closed Friday morning on their second home at the Four Seasons Residences.
"Location was everything for us. We just love the grounds of the Four Seasons, with all the tradition and the amenities,” said Arnold Lipp.
Their two bedroom/two-and-a-half bath condo is on the fifteenth floor with a view of Lady Bird Lake.
“What can be better than this view,” said Lipp. “It is magnificent.”
The 32-story high-rise building features 148 condominiums and is located along Cesar Chavez between San Jacinto Blvd and Trinity Street in downtown Austin. They range in size from 880 square feet to 5,500 square feet and are priced between $400,000 and $4 million.
The Four Seasons Condos will offer residents the same high level of amenities and service the chains hotel guests expect.
“In most high rises the top floor is normally a penthouse. Here this is their extended living room,” said Lorley Musiol, Director of Four Seasons Residences Austin. “They have full amenities, a pool and entertainment room, a library, and the fitness center.”
The Austonian is the tallest residential building in Austin and the Western United States. It too boasts of its elegant life style and unprecedented views of the City and surrounding Hill Country. To live here, it will cost you between $586,000 to $7.2 million.
“Whatever the home owner wants -- the homeowner gets,” said Terry Arterburn, General Manager.
The Austonian, located on South Congress, provides 40,000 square feet of amenities solely for residents and their friends. Simply put -- it provides convenience, privacy, luxury and exclusivity.
“We're actually going to bring back southern service,” said Arterburn. “I can assure you that our homeowners are going to be taken care of from the time they get up to the time they go to bed."
The first homeowners move into the Austonian the middle of June.
The W Hotel & Residences will be located in the Second Street District in downtown Austin. It will have 159 condos and offer a full service life style with a casual Austin atmosphere. It will be the new home of the Austin City Limits. It will be ready by the end of the year.
