AUSTIN -- St. Edward's University police and the Austin Police Department are searching for a 20-year-old St. Edward's University student who went missing the evening of Feb. 6.

Eleno Efren Valle was last seen at his dormitory, Casa Residence Hall, when he told his roommate that he was going out for a walk. Valle's family reported him missing Friday.

As of Monday morning, a spokesperson for the university said Valle is still considered missing and there are no leads regarding his location or wellbeing.

Valle is 5'8" and weighs 117 lbs. Valle has black hair and brown eyes. Valle is believed to be off his anti-depressant medication.

Police are checking his phone log, credit card, and talking to people who may have known him.

Valle does not have a vehicle, and he has not used his cell phone since his disappearance.

Mischelle Diaz is the Director of Communications at St. Edward's University. Diaz says with a small student population of just 5,000 students, Valle's disappearance will make an impact.

If you have any information about Valle's disappearance you are asked to call the St. Edward's Police Department at 512-448-8444 or email at mikebr@stedwards.edu
