We are just a little more than a week away from the election and there are several bond propositions for people in Travis County to consider. Including the highly contested Proposition One.
It would increase property taxes within the health district to five cents per $100 in home valuation to build a University of Texas Medical School and an UMC Brackenridge teaching hospital.
Last week we heard from the Travis County Taxpayers Union who is against the proposition.
Texas Senator Kirk Watson, who was instrumental in getting the proposition on the ballot, speaks with KVUE News.
