AUSTIN -- The Texas Department of Transportation has released a second list of top toll road fee violators in Texas.

TxDOT shared an updated list of names on Monday, Dec. 2.

Officials said the first list was successful in getting those listed to pay their fees. They said they are in discussions with 11 of the top 25 violators, and six of those now have "accounts in good standing."

In just one month, TxDOT collected $1.3 million in unpaid tolls and fees. The agency is trying to collect a total of $27 million in unpaid tolls.

"If you think it's too expensive, don't use it. Wait in traffic on 35 and then sit down and think about how much money you are spending sitting there in traffc and burning up gas," Janet Church of Hutto said. "If you don't pay when you are supposed to, you are going to get fined. That's just part of life."
