Around 10:10 p.m., divers with the sheriff's recovery team found a body in about six feet of water, several yards from the last seen location reported by the witness.
The medical examiner's officer will conduct an investigation into the cause of death and will confirm whether it is the missing swimmer.
The man was identified as the missing swimmer, 24-year-old Angel Salazar Perez of Manor.
According to sheriff’s office detectives, all indications are that the man died as a result of fresh water drowning, however the final autopsy report has not yet been released.
